Deputy White House press secretary Hogan Gidley said Friday that recently revealed FBI documents showed the agency had “extreme bias” against President Donald Trump.
“There is extreme bias against this president with high-up members of the team there at the FBI who were investigating Hillary Clinton at the time,” Gidley said, according to the Associated Press.
His comments came in light of Fox News releasing text messages between FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page — who both worked on special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Trump's alleged ties to Russia — called Trump “an idiot” and feared his election in 2016.
