High School Headmaster Placed on Leave

BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Boston Public Schools have placed the Executive Director at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School in Roxbury on paid administrative leave Monday. 

In a letter to the school to parents and staff, Superintendent Tommy Chang said that Kevin McCaskill, executive director was placed on leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.

The letter did not specify what he was being investigated for.

McCaskill is the latest leader of the troubled school to face scrutiny.  According to BPS, he was appointed as headmaster in December 2016.

Brett Dickens, who served as assistant headmaster was appointed as acting headmaster.
